Today, there is alot of talk that Former Press Secretary Scott McClellan has a tell all book that is to be published soon. This book apparently goes into great depth about the Bush Administration. Here is what NPR is saying. One of President Bush’s counselors is indicating that the book is “total crap.” That is posted on CNN. The White House is “puzzled.”
In the book, McClellan has said “I had allowed myself to be deceived into unknowingly passing along a falsehood,” he wrote. “It would ultimately prove fatal to my ability to serve the president effectively.” Also, he said, “One of the worst disasters in our nation’s history became one of the biggest disasters in Bush’s presidency,” he wrote. “Katrina and the botched federal response to it would largely come to define Bush’s second term.”
Ok. this was not a posting on Daily Kos. It is so shocking!!!!!!!!!
Here is this blog’s opinion about this. The phrase total crap can be used, but not as one of President Bush’s former advisors have indicated. I think that Scott McClellan publishing this book is total crap. Now I have not read the book, but there are parts of it that are the typical sleeze tell all. It is in the paradigm of what the publishers want. Follow this:
Bush === Bad
Iraq=== We were lied to because of the Bush Administration
Karl Rove===Evil.
Now, I could have had some left-wing blockers write this. Now, I am NOT a Bush Fan and think that his administration has been a failure. But it is awfully Damn convenient that this happens now. Like sticking a card in the ATM. Scott McClellan’s press conferences were one of the most arrogant things I have seen. My question is this, if it was so bad, why didn’t he quit? Can’t come up with an answer. Like I said, it is total crap.

The comments that President Bush has said in multiple parts has infurated this blogger so much that I can not even analyze it. Here is the article from : The New York Times.
There are two videos from MSNBC’s Countdown by Keith Olbermann which made me the most insane. I am not a fan of Keith Olbermann, and he can be slightly pissy. However, the way that everything comes together and what was said is something that has upset me enough that I can not even comment.
Here is Number two, it goes back a little, but emphasizes the golf point.
I could not have said it better myself. I think that now silently, Many of the GOP are just counting down the days until January 20th 2009. There will be no “Thank you Mr Bush” or “4 more years” demonstrations at the GOP Convention this summer. If so, it will be fake.
Bush’s arrogance will be coming to an end soon!

Senator Biden is keeping it real again in this posting calling President Bush’s comments accusing Sen. Barack Obama and other Democrats of wanting to appease terrorists “bullshit” and said if the president disagrees so strongly with the idea of talking to Iran then he needs to fire his secretaries of State and Defense. Why couldn’t they use words like that before other conflicts?

A sad anniversary, today is 5 years of “Mission Accomplished,” the symbol that shows the Bush Administration and the Iraq policy. I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT OUR Troops, but I am confused about the stunt, Iraq and the relevance.
Here is the official White House comment from an Associated Press Video Feed about the Anniversary,
It is tragic that this is a devastating example of arrogance. The US Military deserves better. I just do not understand why We are there, and what we hoped to accomplish. I thought that we were against nation building and that is why I voted for President Bush 8 years ago. It saddens me to think of 9/11, but we have not evolved and moved forward. Military people are coming home shattered, and what do we show them? We do not take care of our veterans.
The surge is positive, but we have not really turned the corner. We have not held others accountable. We have not held the Iraqi’s accountable and accountable for their government. Keith Olbermann has a piece that illustrates some of the feeling that I am feeling. It is insightful ( which is a rarity for Keith Olbermann, or Pissy Oldermann).
We deserve answers and we deserve better.
The Generals and The New York Times April 19, 2008

There is an interesting New York Times article on their website that is quite disturbing and needs to be discussed. It goes into dialogue about how retired military generals were used as “puppets” to “spread the positive news about Iraq and the terrorist prisons to the world” by the Bush Administration. If this article is true, then it is rather distrubing.
